On December 05, 2010 DC-Ethio Stars, the leading champions (8 times) since the formation of Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America in 1984, invited the Founder of PRO Leadership to inspire the team. The theme of the presentation was “Own your destiny, shape your future through leadership”. The meeting was conducted at Abysinia Restaurant, Silver Spring- MD.
III. The founder discussed key leadership topics on a talk show
The founder of PRO Leadership appeared on a talk-show in two parts and discussed with the host Hailu Yohannes about key leadership topics such as Mission, Brand, Vision, Values, Leadership Competences, and Character. PRO leadership celebrated its 1-year anniversary on October 23rd, 2010 at Marriott Hotel in Maryland University. The program was exceedingly successful. V. PRO Leadership conducted a workshop on Mastery of Change
This exciting workshop was held on Saturday September 25th, 2010 at Ethiopian Community Center, Washington DC. Participants were from various sectors with varying leadership experiences. The workshop was conducted in experiential setting.
From the start of the workshop till the end, everyone was engaged in one-on-one and group discussion to understand the nature of change, phases of change, and behaviors demonstrated in time of change. The moment created an exciting chance to dig deeper and make self-audit concerning past moments of change and how they handled them. The experiential setting and the group dynamics followed by powerful realizations, and important decisions participants made was inspirational for everyone. The first workshop was held on Saturday August 21, 2010 while the second one was held on Sunday August 29, 2010. The main objective of these workshops was to empower participants realize the importance of self leadership. To achieve this goal, the workshop used a very powerful, holistic, dynamic, engaging, and transformative model called Experiential Learning.

In the past two months- June and July 2010, PRO Leadership carried out two surveys on the above topics for a company, which has offices in three states including in Washington, DC. The main purpose of the survey on values-alignment was to investigate whether the espoused core values of the organization were practiced among all stakeholders. The survey on culture assessed the prevailing and preferred cultures. At the end of each survey, PRO Leadership submitted a consultancy report detailing the process, methods, results, and recommendations.
