Leadership has a different meaning for different people. It is viewed differently by people from different cultural, historical, political, and religious backgrounds. Some people view leadership as a privilege set aside for those who have certain attributes and qualities. Leadership is also wrongly perceived as a career set aside for those who have certain attributes like oratory, charisma, courage, and confidence. Its scope as well is narrowed and considered as one of the social science fields. Not only that, leadership is related with titles, positions, power, and authority.
These lead many people to assume that they should first meet certain requirements, show some proofs, and get acceptance or recognition from others before they lead. In worst cases, leadership has been portrayed in a negative light and perceived as a tool used by the few to dictate, exploit, manipulate, and abuse others. Because of these bad reputations some leaders have shown, many may vote themselves out from ever leading. They have been living under their potential and withheld their much needed leadership contributions for the improvement of their lives, families, communities, organizations, and nations. On the other hand, there are many community and small organization leaders who understand the importance of leadership and trying their best to serve their people with zeal and commitment. These leaders could have maximized their leadership service if they get supports to further develop their leadership skills and personality. For some, getting such opportunities may be unaffordable while for some inaccessible. Therefore, PRO Leadership Global was born to contribute its share towards alleviating the above two main challenges.

Towards this end, it also tries its best to provide relevant and latest leadership resources, concepts, and insights. In producing leaders, PRO Leadership will design different kinds of basic, medium, and advanced level of trainings, conferences, and mentoring programs. |
